Russian language, literature and history

General information

Our summer course is designed for students who wish to improve their Russian language ability in a limited period of time and at the same time enjoy an exciting cultural programme in Petrozavodsk and other places of the Republic of Karelia.
Russian language studies are combined with organized excursions and social activities to provide the perfect combination of study and recreation.
Course is organised during a unique period of white night — best time for studying and partying.


International students are welcome to take a general course on Russian as a Foreign Language. These courses focus on practical Russian skills, so that students can make the most of their experience studying in Russia.

Possible levels of Russian

A1, A2, B1,B2, C1,C2 + special training concerning preparation for TORFL (test of Russian as a foreign language)

650 € if you apply as a paid student

Application deadline

Students are expected to apply max June  1, 2018, 12 PM CET but dates are very flexible and school can be organised during the whole summer depending on group.

Cultural programme

You will be able to select from  36 possible cultural events in Petrozavodsk and the Republic of Karelia

Accomodation

PetrSU provides comfortable accomodation in the dorm №2 (Gertsen street 31-b) Dorm is located 7 minutes walk from the University.
Dorm has 118 rooms with kitchen, shower and Internet access. Also it is equipped with innovative secutiry and fire systems.
Dorm is included in the school price.
