Extreme routes tourist guide

General information

We are pleased to introduce a brand-new summer school founded by Petrozavodsk State University in 2018. The school is aimed at providing its students with a very wide variety of practical skills and know-hows in the sphere of extreme tourism.

Our specialty is the ability to combine theory and practice at a drastically new level: theory does not precede practice — they go hand in hand. Each new skill learned is to be applied immediately or in the nearest future not just as a part of an empty exercise, but as an urgent and significant action which directly influences status quo on the route.

Within the framework of a fascinating 90km Shuya river route we will help our students to learn and elaborate all the necessary skills and techniques, show them the real difference between being a passive tourist and being an irreplaceable part of a team.
